Come get screened for Jewish genetic diseases free of charge at Temple University's Student Activities Center. This opportunity is only available to students who are between the ages of 18 to 35!
PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR A SPECIFIC TIME! IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP FOR THE CORRECT TIME, WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE YOU WILL GET SCREENED! YOU MAY ONLY REGISTER FOR ONE TIME!

The screening is through Albert Einstein Medical Center's Victor Center for Jewish Genetic Diseases. If you choose to take advantage of this amazing opportunity, you will meet with a certified genetic counselor and have your blood drawn by a certified phlebotomist.
The whole process will last approximately a half hour.

The Victor Center for Jewish Genetic Diseases raises awareness of Jewish genetic diseases and provides affordable genetic counseling and screening for healthy individuals at risk of being carriers. It is estimated that 1 in 5 Ashkenazi Jews is a carrier of a mutation in a gene for one of several Jewish Genetic Diseases.
